Six foods that have more protein than a chicken breast

Chicken breast is a great source of lean protein, but do not limit your diet, there are options that are equally healthy and full of protein.

For those looking to increase their protein intake without gaining weight, chicken breast comes as an excellent choice as it offers 31 g of protein per 100 g. It is practical, good, quick to prepare and inexpensive.

However, no one deserves to always eat the same thing. The British edition of Women's Health magazine reveals seven foods that have just as much protein as a chicken breast and are equally lean and healthy:

1. Shrimp A dose of 12 to 18 medium prawns contains about 144 calories and 34 grams of protein.

2. Seitan A dose of 100gr of seitan contains about 31.5g of protein.

3. Lose A portion of about 170 g of this fish provides 31 g of protein. The perch also offers a good dose of healthy, omega-3 fatty acids.

4. This green smoothie Without needing any protein powder, mixing 220 ml of soy milk, 30 g of pistachios, 30 g of hemp seeds, 30 g of spinach and a banana can consume more than 31 g of protein.

5. Tofu Want a vegan meal high in protein? Add 35 g of tofu, 220 g of broccoli, 30 g of almonds and 220 g of cooked wheat grains and you will get 36 g of protein.

6. Cottage cheese About 100 grams of this curd-like cheese offers more than 35 grams of protein.
