When I discovered Five Guys last year it was a ranking that Sirchandler shared with the best hamburgers in the United States and that list featured The Habit Burger in first place, according to the vote of the people. I think it is an exaggerated touch to give that place on the podium but they are very good, really. If I had to define them in a sentence I think they are like McDonalds but a thousand times better.
I compare them with those of the golden M because when tasted there was a similar taste to the Big Mac. Possibly put a similar sauce that added to the cucumbers, lettuce and tomato make a very similar combination. But it's not just similar, it's much better than a Big Mac: patty is thicker and like real meat and grilled! Something that the other clearly does not have ...
The fries are delicious, they do not have too much to say, they are not homemade type but they are a little bit thicker than typical ones and I got them freshly made, as it should be. A good portion.
Besides offering a good flavor is an economic proposal, as you will see in the following photos, you can eat a full double menu for just over $ 7 dollars. Almost the same thing that comes out eating in the M but this is of a very superior quality, it shows.
I also liked the image of the brand, the logo, the paper that surrounds the sandwich, the style of this place, and so on. I do not think all the locals are like this one I went to Santa Barbara as it was very quaint (like the rest of the city which is a beautiful place). This is a small place, with the kitchen inside. They sell you through a window, they give you another and the tables were all outside. Half ahead and half back, with umbrellas but you can not eat inside.
There was free WiFi but I think it was more of the resort where the room was than The Habit because the name was something like "public wifi".
In California there are a few local, almost one hundred according to wikipedia but in Florida there are none. That explains why it's something new to me: this is my second trip to California and last year I did not pay attention. According to wikipedia it was also founded in Santa Barbara in 1969 so the place that I was today could well be the first one they put, I do not know.
For me they are not "Premium" burgers but they are the best I've eaten without being. I would not say they are premium first for the price and second because the menu is very simple, they are not pretentious, but they work great. I totally recommend it.
Upgrade:
One of these nights, returning from the Sequoias National Park in California, we were hungry, we happened to be passing by another The Habit Burger at a place called Visalia and stopped for a quick bite to eat. Everything we ordered was excellent. My burger, a double with cheese and bacon, was directly spectacular. Besides potatoes we ordered some very delicious onion rings, which came with Ranch sauce and we almost asked for more because we struggled to eat them. So I'm going to raise the rating to "awesome", they deserve it .... I leave the only photo I took of what I ate.
Points: 5 - Awesome -
