Oh wow, that is interesting. Are your friends from SEA or from Western countries? I heard that a lot during my feasts in Malaysia that the vendors there never see many Westerns but mostly only durian lovers from around Asia coming there.
Among the fruitarian and raw vegan community durian is definitely a big passion for many. ☺️
