That study only measured weather or not Testosterone was affected. It didn't measure estrogen levels at all.

So.... not debunked by that study.

You are right. I did a search on the estrogen story and here I found a lot of good info. It's a long piece of info, but the conclusion is ... there is no danger.

Look, I don't want to have an all out battle in Alex's comments. It seems rude. But that article, to be kind, was written by an ideological nutter. Actual studies were linked to and cited, but what the article author claimed they said and what they actually said are vastly different.

As for the soy and estrogen link. It's there. No, some tofu every now and again won't shrink the man bits, but it does fuck with the endocrine system in a way that's going to hinder you more than help you.

I'm glad that vegans now have a synthetic b12 that more or less works. The idea that they all were going around eating their own feces was pretty gross, and I'm glad they don't have to do that anymore.

I'm sorry. I didn't realise sharing what I just had read is rude.
Sorry for commenting. I won't comment on Alex's post again :(

Awww, don't say that. You're very welcome here. Not every argument is an attack on you, though the internet can be a rough place for sensitive people.

Thanks for the welcome.

Oh, that's a relief. I doubt if I'll drink more than I already do however. There's a limit to even my own laziness.
