Usually I cook at home and really enjoy the process. Yet, as you can imagine, when I’m traveling I often have no options but to go out to some local restaurant. So, being in Lviv this winter I’ve visited the Trapezna (meaning ‘refectory’) restaurant. Located in the basement of the Greek Catholic Church of St. Andrew (The Bernardine Monastery) this restaurant is not only different from other restaurants in the city, but also has some truly unique atmosphere and cuisine along with great Art Gallery.
Ranked #17 of 399 restaurants in Lviv according to Tripadvisor
You may see above what visitors of the restaurant liked the most: onion pie, stew and definitely borscht. I can assure you that the food is really good and authentic. No grill menu or such, unfortunately, but you will like stewed meat, monastery beverages and famous borscht.
You will also like it's cozy atmosphere.
They also have some things left from a century ago or so.
Even kids who were with us enjoyed the Art Gallery.

Wishing you and yours all the best. Cheers.
Wishing all the best to you and yours too.I've seen many people coming from Poland and many other countries to Lviv (the city is close to the Polish border: https://goo.gl/maps/mcYV1D8kSHt). Beautiful city with great architecture and authentic food (not to mention it's very cheap comparing to European prices). It is lovely there, indeed :D Thank you for your comment @bleujay!
Very beautiful, Upvoted and followed!

Welcome to Steemit.
Your comment itself would have induced the interest in your site.....had you left off the marketing pitch.
Steemians for the most part are a well educated professional lot. If one has common sense and good manners one will go far.
If you would be so kind as to read the Complete Steemit Etiquette Guide Revised Edition authored by @thecryptofiend and follow his guidelines perhaps you will be more warmly received.
This tactic is frowned upon by Steemians in general.

I am a big Lviv fan and I really loved this post and in this february, I will definetly visit this great restaurant, how did I miss it?
In my first experience in Lviv, I tried to collect all the good foods in this post
https://steemit.com/travel/@mertbarbaros/lviv-lions-beer-and-coffee
but Lviv is great with their people and they way their doing art. On the streets, on the opera house or on their local music bars. Also you didn't mention about that but they have the greatest hookahs in the Europe I guess. I ve never been travel to USA or Egypt but may be in the World?
