Hey, there good people of steemit. I have been thinking of making beef curry for a long time. It is a bit complicated and it takes time to cook it but finally, I made it. So, lets start.
Ingredients
- 500 gm beef
- two onion
- one garlic
- half a ginger
- one green chili
- Chili powder
7.Cumin powder - Turmeric powder
- Curry powder
- two potatoes sliced in square.
Process
First I put the beff and garlic(sliced so thin) and ginger (sliced so thin), green chili in a bowl, added the spices and put oil and mixed them
Then I cut some onion, some more ginger, and garlic and put them in the pressure cooker and added some butter. I am cooking in the pressure cooker as for beef pressure cooker helps to cook the beef faster. I fried the onion until it becomes brown. Once it is brown, I added some water and some spices. We have to wait a few minutes until the spices become thick and mix with onion.
In this stage I added the beef and mixed with the spices and added some water. Finally, I closed the pressure cooker and let it cook for 20 min in high heat.
You have to take the lead out after 20 mins and add some water and start cooking in medium heat. Then after 20 mins add the potatoes and decrease the heat from medium to low, add some water and let it cook for another 20 to 25 mins. Here, you go. The beef curry is ready.
You can serve it with rice or even roti or tortilla. So, that's it for now. See you again. Steem on
