in #food7 years ago

Hey! I made a traffic light pudding for the first time and let me share the recipe with you! Well as this was my first attempt, it was not so much successful but with my tips, I hope your one will be successful enough ☺️

Things needed ;
✏️ Strawberry jelly 1 pkt 🍓
✏️ Custard powder 2 tbsp
✏️ Whip cream 1 2/3rd cups
✏️ White sugar 4 tbsp
✏️ Milk 500ml 🥛
✏️ Crushed biscuits 🍪
✏️ Vanilla essence

Method;
✅ Take your pudding bowl and lay the crushed biscuits as a the bottom layer. Put lil bit of milk mixed with a pinch of Gelatin on top of it. Put it inside the refrigerator to let it become a thick cool crust.

✅ Add boiling water 450ml to your jelly powder and stir well. Let it become fully cooled.

✅ After jelly is chilled enough, take the bowl out and pour it on top of your well formed biscuit layer. If the jelly was hot, it will lead biscuit pieces to float. So avoid that situation.

✅ Let the jelly to set inside the refrigerator.

✅ Meanwhile mix 2tbsp of custard power with 50ml of milk and 2tbsp white sugar in a jar and boil the rest of 450ml milk.

✅ Stir custard mixture well and at last add the boiled milk. Stir well again till it becomes a smooth thick paste. 🥣

✅ Let the custard to chill until the jelly is set.

✅ After your jelly is set, lay the custard layer over it and allow to chill in the refrigerator.

✅ Whip well your whip cream with 2tbsp of sugar. Add green coloring and a pinch of vanilla essence to it.

✅ Take the bowl out from the refrigerator and lay the final layer of whip cream. Allow to chill.

Tadaaa! Now you are done with your traffic light pudding! 🚦🍮

In my pudding top green layer is not so prominent cause my mom didn’t allow me to put too much coloring 🙈
