When we were looking for houses for the second time I did tell J that whatever we got absolutely had to be something I would consider an upgrade, no compromises or exceptions. We found a few things that came close but nothing that was within our price range that would make me feel good about uprooting everything and moving.
Because that's how much I hate moving.
And so we didn't move.
And I can't even say that I would move for the weather though with the cold that you have there I would most likely have moved somewhere warmer as I can barely cope with the cold here, but haven't moved somewhere warmer because of work and stuff here that we like XD
I'm not big on ginger biscuits but if you made them here and then turned around to put something in the sink the boys would make them gone in about that time.
I developed asthma once we moved to the North (we are not too too far from Alaska), its super long Winter here. In the north, the -42 C is so different to the - 42C in part of Canada (say Montreal). So its different coldness, bitter.
I was super hardly gotten sick nor had asthma living in Montreal. Once moved here, boom. Asthma and less immune to the severe coldness.
My family doctor said one time "then move. Why stay here"
Easy for others to say when the jobs ARE here in the north.
Sad to say that why risk health for financial, I know. But soooo many years we lived elsewhere and could never save up. Here, we arent just able to have some $ to save, but to spend for leisure after bills, we have a house too, we are able to send $ to family abroad, so there are a lot of the pros....just that, not very fun to get sick easily 😅
From my statistically insignificant observations the people who say why risk health for financial generally don't have health or financial problems that need risk assessment or developed bad health problems from chasing financial gains so I guess we'll see what kind of bed we made when we have to lie in it when we're oooooooooooold ^_^;
I so agree 🤣🤣🤣🤣
