As long as it's "Not people" and it makes you feel good. Still, the name.... Ugh! For arthritis pains, I have found that taking a Calcium (with D3), magnesium, and zinc combo daily and adding K-2 has really helped. Adding a small amount of boron can also help, but males especially should be careful because it does seem to stimulate estrogen.
