I saw this picture on twitter and it brought back some memories. It's been over 12 years since I tasted "ewa ati bread" . Many years ago, this was my favorite dinner. I couldn't stay a day without taking some of these.

If you've lived in Lagos before or you've ever visited Lagos, you must have heard about this food. It's one of the most popular meals in Lagos and still very popular in some areas of Lagos.

Just in case you still can't figure out what this is, it's actually overcooked beans, stew (I have no idea what they use for that stew because it has some substance inside that looks like sand) and bread.

What gives this meal its uniqueness is the special stew added to it. The stew has lots of palm oil and a "sand like" feel in the mouth.

If you ever visit Lagos, try to taste this Nigerian food.
