A tactical pre-workout that is tailored to your body and digestion is one of the most important factors when smashing out an intense workout.
As soon as I feel tired or hungry at the gym, I feel like it's so easy to justify going home and treating yourself to the infamous post workout meal.
My preworkout ritual changes depending on the time of day, my energy levels and what I've eaten so far. One of my faves lately though has been this protein rich, banana espresso smoothie. Having enough protein before you workout ensures that your body isn't in a catabolic state. This smoothie will give you tones of energy and provide your muscles with the necessary carbs and amino acids to fuel your workout.
1/2 banana 🍌
2 tsp instant coffee ☕️
1 scoop choc pea protein💪🏼
1 tsp raw cacao 🌰
Dash of almond milk 🍼
Ice and cold water to blend 💦
One day I'll be able to eat better... but I think it will take enormous amounts of money to get there :O
