Falafel: my vegan pleasure.
Although I am not a vegetarian, I enjoy dishes that are free of animal protein. My mother is the queen of Falafel, and I always tell her. Today we enjoyed a family lunch and I loved photographing my plate, it is a very particular way in which I serve it.
I accompany it with tomatoes, radish, parsley, cilantro, pickles and the dew with sesame cream. Just perfect.
For those who do not know, the falafel is a kind of chickpea meatball (although there are other grains) ground, and combined with coriander, cumin and seven species. Its origin is Arabic.

Falafel is one of my absolute FAVORITE foods! And it's so funny because before I went vegan (Over 5 years ago now!) I'd never had it before, and since I was so stubborn about food back then, I probably never would have even tried it, which would have been a real travesty.

That looks amazing wow!...........falafel is one of my favorites, but I never made one. I always get them in our Lebanese restaurants. We have many of them in Toronto area 😊
