Simple, beautiful garlic marinara sauce made with San Marzano tomatoes (sweeter than most tomatoes). Would’ve been perfect if the mussels had been properly expelled. A little sand still in there. Brand new Italian spot. East coast chef. Knows his seafood. I hit him for lunch on a day of a big private party. He’s prepping. Staff just needed to soak those mussels a few more minutes and it would’ve been damn good
