Another shop that wraps its produce in plastic. Why would you need to wrap single potatoes like this? Sometimes this world really makes me wonder if I'm just dreaming.
Am I wearing the crazy cap when I think this is complete stupidity?

I lost my mind the first time I saw that! I may have made a scene. There's also the disturbing foil wrapped single potato, on a styrofoam tray, with plastic wrap - baked potato ready!

I hear you. I can't answer that. Except, maybe exposure? What you are exposed to is your reality. If it's tv and a full grocery store, and affluent surroundings, then there's a perception of constancy and plenty? If you're outside and in ag communities, then you notice the changing weather, bird and bee struggles, and Roundup resistance.

on 1st Jan 1this year the entire state of Tamil Nadu banned single use and some multi use plastics, overnight! Amazing really, we all complied and now there are no more wax cups as the tea stand, and i cant even buy plastic sheets to make my greenhouse! Plastic bags and much more, GONE..
Sometimes India amazes me, how they can make such huge changes overnight and everyone just gets on with it..

Oh wow, no I did not know!! It is really amazing how it happened like that. Looks like you will have to look for old windows for your greenhouse!
