It is a wonderful experience to take children to the apple orchard. These days, we spend plenty of time in grocery stores making our purchases several times per week. I think that it is worth the adventure and discovery to go to the source to see where their favorite fruits and vegetables grow. I usually pack a green apple in my son's lunch and we prefer the taste compared to the sweeter apple varieties.

We call it foreign Apple. So sweet

We'll be hitting the orchard tomorrow. Hopefully, the season is not too far ahead of us. We usually make a family outing out of it. One time that we can usually get our boys home for the weekend :-)
