Mangosteen (Garcinia mangostana) is an exotic, tropical fruit with a slightly sweet and sour flavor.
so here's tip on how to pick good mangosteen:
- If the color of the fruit was brown and rough, Its RAW!.
- If the leaves are pure light green, its RAW
- if the color of the fruit turns out on red and the skin is soft (that your fingers will sink when you press), then its RIPE.
- if the color of the fruit turns out black and has hard skin. It's OVERRIPE!
I bought this Mangosteens for just 20php(0.39$) per kilos. The best mangosteens here in phillipines can be found on davao. so far 😂
