FoodAdventure #1 - TOPS OF CEBU

Hi friends,

So last tuesday I just turned 28 years old.

Though life had many ups and down But Amazing.

So I am Here today at Tops Of Cebu a late celebration of my birthday for a sumptuous dinner.

It took a while for me to go to this place because of the location. 20-30 mins drive away from the city up in the moutains.

The place is amazing,refreshing and breathtaking.

If your looking for a place with a nice view, Cold environment, less crowd and in for some adventure reaching the place then Tops Of Cebu is the definitely best place for you.

The place is friendly for all ages, they made everyone can dine in and enjoy the view. Building ramps for PWD and spacious hallway before you can go inside the resto.

The place is Big with plenty of rooms for tables and chairs. The design with modern, romantic and laid back and it has 2 Levels.

1st Level - It has an open space where the tables with big bright red umbrellas are position and the Inner part has a High Ceiling roof.

The second level or The View Nearer from the City Lights

2nd Level is a totally a open area with bright decorated lights

So if we have that celebrity billboard for pictorials the place has it's own version proud of it's location cebu.

So Let's talk about the food. So I was expecting great place bad food. BUT I WAS TOTALLY WRONG! Great Place and Home for Good Food!!!

Our orders were:

1.Mongo Bean Soup with Coconut Milk and some Vegetables.

2.Binago-ongan Bagnet - Deep Fried Crispy Pork Liempo with Chili Shrimp Paste and sa green Beans

3.Tuna Belly with Mango Salad Salsa

4.Pork Belly

5.Aligue Rice - Garlic rice with Crab strings and Crablets

The Table Setting and food preparation is Good

The Service

On the receiving area it took a while for the crew to guide us to our table. But the FOOD service is fast the assigned crew inform us our order will take a mininum of 15-20mins as to my surprise it only took for our 1st 3 orders to arrive within 7 mins and the last 2 just after 2 mins with the 1st batch. Quite Exceeded our expectations for fast food preparation and the value of your money is all worth it for a happy well speny decent meal.

The staffs are friendly with quick response to your needs. They also offer to sing for you on your birthday as a greeting and entertainment for you and your family.

The Budget:
I was expecting it's one of the expensive restaurant here in cebu that may take up half of your 15days salary but the price is actually affordable. Dinning with 5 people at Php1050/$21 total bill is actually a Good price with a full Tummy and Happy Heart. We had a total of 4 main dishes shared and a platter of rice.

So this is what they offer. The food choices are not too many But it's good to save you from any confusion what to order.

So if you come here on a date, a family gathering just simply you just want to eat then surely you won't regret it. You'll get a perfect view of the city even in the afternoon. Cold and relaxing and dine it with good food and service.

Their pasta and fish is one of my favorite :)

MOTORBIKE: Hire a habal-habal driver -Motorcycle for hire- near JY Square Mall in Lahug, and inform him to drop you off at the said restaurant or at Tops Lookout. Estimated fare is P50 per person max of 2.

*TAXI: Hiring a taxi cab is possible but that can be hefty. Most of them won’t give you a metered reading system – hence, they’ll be offering you an estimated fare in going there.

*PRIVATE: Best optionSpacious parking space available. Just search for ‘Top of Cebu’ or ‘Tops Lookout’ in Cebu Transcentral Highway via Waze or Google Maps. ‘Tops of Cebu’ restaurant is located just beside the popular Tops Lookout or simply you can ask the locals.
