Regards! Today I'm going to talk about one of my passions, coffee. A good coffee should be prepared properly and be enjoyed alone or with good company. For this I am going to make a brief historical review of La Greca.
The Greca coffee maker really is of Italian origin known as moka coffee maker, is an espresso machine1 that makes the coffee by means of steam. It was created by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933, whose company, Bialetti continues to produce the same model (called "Moka Express"), originally made of aluminum.
The espresso coffee has its characteristic flavor due to the passage of water at higher pressure and temperature (100 °) which allows greater extraction of coffee oil, so it usually has more body than that obtained from the rest of the coffee makers but it also depends on the type of coffee bean, the origin or the roasting process.
So from now on, whenever you enjoy a delicious moka coffee, relax, remember its origin, and thank Signor Alonso Bialetti! :)
