My New Job at a Chocolate Shop
I started a new part-time job in August. I was visiting my favorite chocolate shop, Annegret's in Kelowna, BC, and saw a "Help Wanted" sign. Well, the choice wasn't too difficult. "Of course I'll apply-I love their chocolate! Nom nom nom." But the job would come with a risk-extra calories.
Quality vs. Quantity
![]()Fortunately for me, I haven't gained as much weight as I expected (about a pound). One of the things I noticed about eating handmade, small batch chocolates is that a little goes a long way toward satisfying my cravings. I don't need to eat as much cocoa products as I used to. Also, it has spoiled me for cheap chocolate. I used to love Coffee Crisp for example. I had a small Halloween Coffee Crisp a few nights ago and was surprised at how little I liked it. With Halloween approaching, my kid's candy will be safe from me at least.

So, if you are visiting Kelowna, come and get spoiled at Annegret's where you can get handmade gelato, organic specialty coffees, and of course the most amazing chocolates! I would love to meet another Steemit author.
