Should you come for barbecue Twitter, you should not miss.
Regrettably, Vice Magazine's food-focused site Munchies appears to possess done just that. And, well, people on the web possess some opinions.
As an under-smoked brisket unceremoniously dumped around the world's plate, someone in the media company think it is smart to tweet out a fine enough article entitled "Exactly Why Is Brooklyn Barbecue Taking Around the globe?" using the following photo:
Exactly why is Brooklyn barbecue taking around the globe? https://t.co/aiemJpWxZw pic.twitter.com/dGPyQ7X912

The undeniably sad pile of meat calls in your thoughts a lot of things &mdash loneliness, despair, desperation, a misguided attempt for connection &mdash but not one of them really are a regional type of BBQ reigning supreme over this troubled earth.
While Munchies had to understand this, and would likely have selected the photo being an intentional dunk on Brooklyn barbecue, no quantity of context on the planet could prevent that tweet from getting ratioed directly into the wood-burning fire bowl of hell. During the time of this writing it'd 280 retweets and also over 5,000 replies. And, yes, "Brooklyn BBQ" has become trending across the country on Twitter.
The tweet/headline combo is undeniably an unpleasant factor, but there's still pleasure found in the problem. Particularly, that's, within the tweets mocking it.

Obviously, no Twitter outrage could be complete with no backlash towards the backlash. So we got that &mdash with one author suggesting the entire point of this article is the fact that Brooklyn BBQ actually sucks (therefore, the shitty photo).

In either case, I am sure we all can agree with the truth that all barbecue &mdash Brooklyn incorporated &mdash is terrible.
(Editor's note: The vista mentioned above reflects those of the article's author alone. We at Mashable in general feel &mdash so we we do hope you agree &mdash that barbecue isn't, actually, terrible.)
