"Keukarah" Dry Comestible

Dry comestible Acehnese similar to fibers or a bird's nest. Savory snacks, sweet, crunchy, and brittle, it can be eaten just like that and fit to enjoy it with ice cream.

The ingredients are very simple are: rice flour, sugar, and water. There is also the added coconut milk.



How to make

Mix all the ingredients in the dough, water is added by degrees until thick and uninterrupted. then with a perforated container, or which is usually used coconut shell made specifically, the mixture flowed into the cooking oil that has been heated slowly, to form a slab-like fibers. Once cooked, the sheet folded into a triangle or according to taste, then remove and drain.

I've seen this before but I didn't buy cause I don't know what it is and it's deep fried - so it's actually called that. I find the manner of cooking out of the box and - fascinated by how they used the coconut shell to make it. Very creative :)
