Satay Matang, a culinary flavor from Aceh

Aceh has a variety of culinary with a very distinctive taste and delicious. Satay matang one of them, food with basic ingredients of mutton and beef is a very popular food. Satay matang into a favorite culinary menu that is hunted by local and foreign tourists.

Satay matang comes from Matang Geulumpang Dua districts Bireuen, Aceh. Its name is taken from its home area Matang. The satay is cooked with a soto that tastes like curry and peanut sauce with herbs.

Some time ago I invited family to enjoy this famous culinary, satay matang is one of our favorite foods. We are very regular culinary tasting coming from Matang Geulumpang Dua located in Rex Peunayong township, Banda Aceh.


Satay is roasted using charcoal.



Satay served with goat soup and peanut seasoning and rice.
