Always willing to push the boundaries of Baking Technology, tonight I made Syrup Rock Cakes without the use of weighing scales..!! Haha haha.
Baking with Chef "a la Kendal" is never a dull moment and when it comes to mixing the ingredients, it's out with the weighing scales. Haha haha.
Weighing scales are for amateurs. Haha haha.
There's nothing like a bit of guess work when it comes to baking. Haha haha.
Baking without scales is simply more fun.

Well this is something completely different @stephenkendal. You're certainly pushing the boundaries of baking. I thought rock cakes had raisins in them. But then if you're using syrup why not leave them out! 😂
