They are great before and after workouts as a mix of high quality carbs and protein.
Muscle Growthmeal Cookie (aka Oatmeal Protein Cookie) Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups old-fashioned oats
- 100 grams of your favorite chocolate whey protein powder
- 1 Cup unsweetened apple sauce
- 1 Soft banana
- 1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar or alternative sweetener
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 1 cup of chocolate chips and / or 1 cup of walnut halves
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lift the oven door up and down for 10 reps.
- Hold the baking sheet out in front of you for 90 seconds as an isometric baking sheet hold. Then, line it with parchment paper for easy clean up.
- Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl for 100 reps with each hand.
- Using an ice cream scoop or a spoon, place 12 mounds of dough onto the baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Do push ups while you wait.
This should make ~12 cookies, assuming you followed step 4 correctly and can count.
