Today after coming back home from the doctors, I went straight into the kitchen and started cooking, had a headache from waiting at the hospital, looking at all the sick people and children there, I needed to get my mind off all the negativity.
So I decided to make something simple and tasty for my family.
A PIZZA ROLL!
One can not go wrong with any type of PIZZA!
Ingredients:
500 grams of fillo pastry
200 ml of sour cream
5 eggs
garlic herbs
200 grams of tomato sauce
300 grams of grated cheese
400 grams of salami
salt
cooking oil for the pan
Step 1
Getting everything ready:
First place 2 layers (sheets) of fillo pastry on a tray, then mix the sour cream, eggs and a pinch of salt, cut your salami into even thin slices and grate your cheese.
Step 2
Baste your pastry with the egg and sourcream mix. Then place another layer of pastry (single sheet) and then baste with tomato sauce and sprinkle with garlic herbs. Then place another single sheet of pastry and baste with the eggs and sourcream mix.
Then spread the salami.
Step 3:
Place a single sheet of pastry on the salami and spread out the grated cheese.
Then place another single sheet of pastry and baste with the egg and sourcream mix and roll it up, but not to tight, we want it to be nice and flexible inside.
Step 4
Make three rollls, following the above steps and then place into a oiled baking tray.
Once in the tray, baste again with the egg and sourcream mix.
Place into a preheated oven at 200 degrees celsius, for 20 minutes, until it turns goldren brown.
Once finished slice up into 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) thick slices.
