I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I've tried to make it before and could not get the chili flavor right. I'm convinced you have to use Korean chili paste of some sort to get it right, but I like how you've made a paste out of the ginger and garlic and mixed it with the chilie flakes...hmmm. I suddenly want to try making it again! If/when I do, I'll try to give you a heads up. Thanks for this new idea!
