One of the things that we've been recommended many times by our subscribers is to go to Glorieta Chapalita. A Glorieta is what they call a roundabout in Mexico - some are much larger than others.
This particular Glorieta is pretty large and has a small park in the middle. We were told that on the weekends there's a lot going on here. Well, as it turns out, that only happens on Sunday. We went on a Saturday.
There weren't many happenings happening, so we decided to make some happen and do a video on the differences in food between the US and Mexico.
In this video, we tell the story of what happened with Maddie before and after coming to Mexico.
Watch the full video below.
We use this action cam to shoot our videos.

I can totally go for this, Right Now.!!!
This is a delicacy. I am excited to know that Maddie doesn't have any reaction to Mexican food. I know how sometimes our body reacts and reject any kind of food. People should understand the severity as I am still pained she doesn't take bananas anymore.
You have always been a huge fan of Mexican treats and not only for the relatively low prices sometimes, but for the taste too.
Well done guys. Good to see you are already enjoying those amazing food.
I am always proud of you both. You are doing incredibly amazing and thanks for always creating that connection with your viewers.
Well done.
Good to know Maddie started to eat more variety of food here on Mexico.
You guys are doing a great job with your blog here on Steemit and with your YouTube channel.
And really apressiate this because you're taking the time and trying to bring some light to foreign or tourist about topics like this of the FOOD.
Yes, we mexicans have unbalanced diets. But our food is one of the best around the world.
Greetings from Hidalgo.
In Mexico, people who react badly to food are also increasing, but we still have very natural food. And if you travel more to the south of mexico the food is changing I think it is more delicious and cheaper, and maybe even more natural!
No freaking way! End of conversation, goodbye, the end!! Lol I love Mexico but food is where I draw the line
yummy i want to taste it.
i wish i could have these _ nice reviewful post btw ^_^
Mexico is a very beautiful place with lots of cool structures and delicious meals. The round about make Mexico more cute as it serves for a means of amusement to it's inhabitants. People are mostly found in the Glorieta round about as they tend to rest, enjoy themselves and have fun. I also love the water falls and the cool environment over there.
@Tangerinetravels their food is very tasty and yummy 😀
I will love to taste Mexico's food one day
mexico has a wide varieties of delicious and nutritious food recipes. The country mexico is greatly known for their nutritious and healthy meals
Looks delicious !!
You are totally right about the food in Mexico, im from Dominican Republic and i've been 4 times in Mexico, i visited CDMX and Zipolite nude beach in the OAXACA province, and the food has less artificial stuff , i notice that dairy and milk in mexico taste delicious , you go to any restaurant in mexico city and the service is going to be top notch .
Mexico in general has a great variety of food, and dishes for which you never get bored of its gastronomy.
So happy to hear that you finally eat food again. You said in the video that you had mercury poisoning. Have you been detoxed? I assume that you are too young to have had the old type of dental fillings that were made of mercury. If you do have them, they need to be removed ASAP. And you are absolutely right, fresh organic food is the best for your health.
