in #food4 years ago

Peach is a very delicious and sweet fruit native to Asia. Let me introduce you to my new favorite drink, this flavorful peach tea delights you one sip at a time. Cool and refreshing, this peaches tea is truly awesome and refreshing summer cooler. I usually bring a bottle of peach tea to class and enjoy, my friends also love this taste. She always wanted me to bring more peaches because one peach equals 10 percent of a day’s vitamin A..

And it’s really the ultimate summer fruit. You can use fresh or canned peach. The syrup peach will last for weeks but it’s so addicting, my family drank it within 1 week it was really delicious with the smell and sweetness. I prefer to make it at home because my peach tea has no preservatives.

Step 1:

Rinse the peach clean, then hull them with a paring knife by slicing around and pulling out the stem. Cut the fruit along the equator, place the peach in the palm of your hands and twist to separate the two segments, you should be able to easily remove the seed with your fingers then cut the peaches into thick, even slices.

Step 2:

Add sugar into a pan with 500ml water. Bring to the boil slowly, ensuring the sugar is fully dissolved. Add 400 ml water and stir, when the sugar is boiling add peaches. Simmer for 2 minutes, then turn off the heat

Step 3:

Pick up the peaches in a bowl of ice water and soak them until cool - This is an important step because peaches will be crispy.

Step 4:

Put peaches in a glass jar , add more sugar water and keep in the refrigerator.
Whenever you want to drink a tea, mix tea, water, well stirring. Then add 30ml peach syrup, fill with ice, peach pieces and serve.
