There is a giant debate on the horizon if us humans should just stop eating animals. Some will say we have to do that as fast as we possibly can in order to survive. Others will say lots of other things.
What I say is this: It is OK if we all eat animals.
But it is absolutely NOT OK how we treat these animals while they are alive. Think of those animals we eat as Neanderthal people. What do some of those meat production sites remember you of? Thats exactly what they are. Even if you keep them in an organic farm it reminds me of romans keeping their slaves.
And it is absolutely NOT OK how we treat these animals while we kill them. How we are not even aware that we kill them when we actually do it. Imagine there are people listening to music chilling in their heads while they kill animals bigger than them to the beat of the music that they hear. And this is done totally unconsciously without being aware of how absurd the thing is that they do again and again every day their whole life.
I want to listen to people who can remember how to properly treat animals with respect again
If you think now those guys in the slaughterhouse with the headphones are in serious trouble. He might just be dumb though. But their are also people who plan and optimize and enforce that he is doing what he is doing. They are worse.
And there are people who consciously reward those people who run those slaughterhouses by giving them bitcoin. They are even worse.
I definitely want to make sure that I am not that person, because we are personally responsible for all we do, including the above thing. How likely is it that you will find an excuse for doing it, when somebody asks you?
