Sate klathak at a glance like a regular goat satay, but the uniqueness is on how to make it. Sate klathak is made by using the iron bars of bicycle wheels as a skewer. These iron bars act as a more perfect heat conductor than bamboo or wooden sticks, so the pieces of meat are cooked evenly. This makes the goat satay taste better and tender.
There are enough places to enjoy klathak satay in Jogja, but the most famous is Sate Klathak Pak Bari which is located near Wonokromo Market, and Pak De satay in Jejeran.
