Hi everyone! This is a classic of the italo/american cuisine, but it's very popular all around the globe.
In Italy, where I come from we do something similar called " Fettine alla pizzaiola ". It is slightly different because we normally use veal instead of chicken and we don't use breadcrumbs, flour or eggs, but we still use all the remaining ingredients.
I think it is a simple dish to make if you take care of some details,
for example make sure that the frying oil reaches the right temperature ( 175° ) before to put the chicken in and same with the oven that needs to be hot to help melting the mozzarella cheese in the shortest possible time.
Ok now stop talking and lets cook!!!
Ingredients
for the tomatoe sauce:
2 tablespoon of olive oil
1 garlic cloves
1 small onions chopped
1 thin of chopped tomatoes
3 leaves of fresh basil
1 teaspoon of origano
salt
for the chicken:
2 chicken breast
plain flour
eggs
fresh breadcrumbs
frying oil quantum
1 mozzarella ball
