Marinated Tofu Coated with Sesame Seed Brochettes

Try this easy vegetarian brochette made with tofu, perfect appetizer for a brunch or a light dinner.

Ingredients

  • Tofu 400 g, cut into 2 inch cubes
  • Olive oil 50 ml
  • Honey 2 tbsp
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sesame seeds 4 tbsp
  • Chard 150 g, red
  • Wooden skewers soaked in water for 30 minutes

Preparation

Heat the grill to hot.

Whisk together the olive oil and honey.

Thread the cubes of tofu onto skewers, fitting 4 to each brochette.

Brush with the olive oil and honey and season well.

Coat the tofu cubes in the sesame seeds so that they are covered evenly.

Grill for 6-8 minutes until golden brown on the outside.

Arrange the red chard on serving plates.

Place the tofu brochettes on top of the red chard and serve immediately.
