Nutella Filled Steamed Buns (Bakpao)

in #food6 hours ago

TGIF!

No school today for the boys, this momma had a half hour addition of relaxing morning before everyone got up earlier 😊

I have mentioned quite a few times before in my past postings throughout the years, that whenever it's warming up, flooding on the road, right. Anyhoo. This year it's totally looking like a river outside. The city crew came by but apparently didn't succeed draining the icy water 😅 So last night when they left and right now as well, cars still driving through the river. Crazy. AND I have a small car, so when I drive through, all wheels are not visible at all, they are under the water! With floating ice here and there, make it worse, hitting the body of the car, meh!

I've been itching to float a cardboard with 2 Lego characters and make a time-lapse depicting Titanic or something 😅🤣😅🤣

Anyhoo! Steamed buns time 😍

Flatten each, and spoon Nutella in center, shape into rounds. At this point, you can let rest for 20 mins before steaming, you can place them into container to keep in the fridge for next day, or you can in face steam them right away

Preheat your steamer, steam for 10 minutes, then take the steamer off the water, let stand for 10 mins before opening the lid

Enjoy!
