If you love to travel here in the Philippines, you should know that one of the best experience is to try the different street food that emerged our culture.
Here are some list of street foods that I love to it.
1.PORK AND ISAW BBQ!
Pork bbq,are marinated piece of pork skewered on sticks and grilled over coals.
Isaw is a street food from the Philippines made from barbecued pig or chicken intestine the intestine are cleaned, turned inside and out and clean it again. And the most exciting of this food is they were grilled in front of you.😍
2.FISH BALLS AND (TEMPURA)
Fish balls are arguably most iconic. Many Filipinos grew up eating it,so for us,fish balls are quintessential street food. They are basically balls of flour made with sty flaked of fish.
They are usally on push carts where you can just grab a skewer and poke them directly on the pan where you can choose whether you like it toasted or not.It comes with three sauces:sweet, spicy, and vinegar..😍
And last but not the least,my favorite street food here in the Philippines!
3.BALUT
Balut is fertilized egg,and as what the vendor says, that it is incubated with in 14-21 days.
It is typically made of duck eggs specifically native ducks, but it can be made chicken eggs as well if the duck eggs is not available.
Balut is often seasoned with salt and chili, garlic, and vinegar mixture, but I've always eaten it as is.We Filipinos know how off-putting balut can be for many tourists,so we challenge them to eat it.
You might also across a version of Balut called "penoy"..These are balut eggs that dont properly develop.Balut pinoy is like a hard boiled egg with no separation between the yolk and the eggwhite kind of like semi crambled egg in its shell..😍
There are still a lot of pinoy street foods here in the Philippines I only featured my favorite food. And i love to eat it.And I do hope you will love it too..😍😍😍
