Is that legal? And is it a hallucinogenic?
Oh, it's legal. Used just like nutmeg, a little is enough. The sarrapia has many uses, as a digestive drink in the Angostura bitters accompanied by whiskey, to flavor tobacco, to make perfumes, in the bechamel sauce...
Interesting! And it's available in the U.S.?
It seems that in U.S its alimentary use is prohibited, If that is true it is a pity. At present the sarrapia or Fève Tonka is highly valued in France. http://www.toildepices.com/wiki/index.phptitle=F%C3%A8ve_tonka
