Yep you should try this. Even you can try this with your lunch or dinner.
I tried lassi before, but this one looks nice as well. I will try it out :) Thank you for sharing and enjoy your weekend!
Lassi and chaas both are the same thing. Thats just a name difference in different regions. 😊
Ah ok! Good to know :)
Well, it has been a while we tried it after moving to states here. Though both me and my wife miss it mostly as the whole milk curd does not taste similar to what we are used to back in India. Anyways, thanks for sharing the recipe.
BTW, a trivial thing but I noticed there are three "L" in Follow of your footer. You can correct it.
Hahaha yep you are right😅. Thanks for correcting me. 😊
Glad to be of little help :)
I for some reason don’t think I would like this. But I’m willing to try. Is this like a dessert? When would you drink it? Is it sweet or savory?
savoury drink it is, helps with food digestion and keeps you cool in summers.
This recipe is a salty one but you can try this as a sweet too. You can add sugar istead of all these spices. But if you want to taste a real one you should come here in India. As i can see you are a great food lover. You should definitely come here. 😊
I haven't tried any Indian food, but by the looks of it, it's delicious i hope i can eat one someday.
You cant eat this because its a drink😅
My bad. 😂
This looks like something interesting to taste. @travel-cuisine
Yep something interesting and really delicious 😋
I love your post, I hope your vote in mine https://steemit.com/food/@gabriellejaimes/pollo-con-salsa-bechamel-para-primerizos
nice! looks delicious too!..
Yep 😋😋
there is an older and traditional method,
the water mixing method is used for packaged buttermilk mainly cause they separate fat from the milk in an early phase.
churn the curd, butter will separate at top which will later be used to make ghee in india, rest is chaas or mattha traditionally which contains negligible fat and a good drink for summers.
I know the traditional one too. My grandma use to do it. But its really time taking and these days nobody have enough time and such equipments, hope you know for which equipments i am talking about. Thats why i put a simple one method.
this look delicious!
Yes 😋
Hmmmmm lovely..... I really wish i could get the ingredients here.. Would have love to share mine lol
Umm you can find it at any indian grocery store. These are common ingredients.
Cool stuff!
Thanks
Sounds like it is gonna taste good.
