伦敦的中国城可是亚洲风味小吃藏龙卧虎的地方，如果除了比较火爆的韩国，日本，泰国菜，你还想吃些东南亚风味的餐厅，今天我要介绍一家集越南，新加坡，马来西亚还有泰国为一体的综合餐厅---Banana Tree，香蕉树，这个餐厅名字好可爱。听说在泰国清迈也有一家同名餐厅，但是不知道是不是同一个人开的。
This restaurant has a history of 25 years, 21 years ago, the founder and executive chef William Zhou Zaixi London opened his first 36 southeast Asia Indo - Chinese cafe.The birth of the cafe from his passion for the different cuisines in southeast Asia, he likes the food include belongs to the southeast Asia style of herbs and spices.There are eight restaurants.
这家餐厅已经有25年的历史了，21年前，创始人兼主厨威廉周在西伦敦开了他的第一个36座的东南亚Indo-Chinese咖啡馆。这家咖啡馆的诞生源于他对东南亚地区不同菜系的热情，他喜欢在食物里加进属于东南亚风格的草药和香料。目前已经有8家餐厅了。

I was abroad recently in Thailand. Stopped by Chiang Mai for two weeks and never heard of this restaurant or had it recommended to us.
Black glutinous rice is vanilla ice cream, mango sticky rice, this made me think of Thailand the same tasty.
Unrelated thought but this reminds me of when I tried Black Sesame Ice Cream in Bangkok...was really good.

There was actually a restaurant called Banana Tree while i was in Cambodia but not sure if it is the same one as this one. The noodle also remind me so much to Vietnamese Pho noodles. Yum! Do you prefer eating out more or cooking at home?
