Delicious Curry Shoyu Ramen from Japan

Today I found 'Curry Shoyu Ramen' (translated using Google Translator), 100% vegan instant noodles from NISSIN Japan, in the international section of a supermarket. Being a product of Japan it was obviously very high quality stuff and that reflected in the price, which was 5-times the price of an average instant noodle pack manufactured and sold in India.

Now, I usually prepare my noodles by boiling them for around 3 minutes in boiling water and then draining all the water away after which I add the tastemaker to the drained noodles. This method produces dryish noodles coated with the tastemaker, which is my preferred style of noodles. However, because this was a product of Japan, I decided to prepare it Japanese style which always contains soup. So I took my noodle bowl, added the unbroken noodle cake, sprinkled all the tastemaker on top of the noodle cake and then added exactly 210 ml of boiling water. I then covered my bowl with a porcelain plate and left it for 4 minutes. My noodles were cooked in exactly 4 minutes.

So how did it taste? Well, THE BEST INSTANT NOODLES I've ever tasted in my life. And no, I'm not talking about the flavour. I'm talking about the noodles. Slightly on the thicker side, firm, they absorbed all the delicious soup perfectly while retaining their texture. This is something unheard of with Indian instant noodles which literally become a paste if you try to cook them soup-style. The soup was delicious as well. There was a curry flavour, though not as strong as Indian masala noodles, and there was the flavour of the shoyu (soy sauce). I really enjoyed the noodles as well as the soup. My only complaint with this ramen would be that it didn't come with any dehydrated vegetables (I was expecting Japanese mushrooms and corns) but other than that it was easily the best instant noodles I've ever had in my life.
