Vegan in New York Part 2
Welcome to Part 2 of our New York adventure! As I mentioned before, there are countless vegan-friendly spots in NYC, and we visited several of them, so I decided to make two posts rather than one really massive one with endless scrolling.
Bareburger is not an all vegan restaurant, but the vegan options are clearly marked on the menu. You can even build your own burger, which is what I did here. Super tasty!

I honestly don't want to tell you how many doughnuts we ate from Dunwell, but let's just say it's more than what I have pictured here. Dunwell honestly has the BEST doughnuts I have ever had, vegan or otherwise. We were actually hanging out with a friend from college, and he didn't believe us when we told him they're vegan doughnuts. He wanted us to double check, just to make sure we weren't accidentally eating something non-vegan. Never fear, the doughnuts are vegan and mouth-wateringly delicious. Make sure you go early so you can get your pick of all of the flavors. Glazed, cinnamon sugar, maple, chocolate, lemon, the list goes on!
Neither of us were big fans of sushi before going vegan so we weren't sure how we'd feel about Beyond Sushi, which is 100% vegan. It wasn't bad and the taste was fine, but we still aren't fans of sushi. The dumplings, however, were incredible. We would have been happy with just several orders of dumplings without the sushi, but it was still a good meal.

Sauce: Ponzu
The best vegan pizza I have ever had, hands down, was at Screamer's Pizzeria in Brooklyn. Double Zero was delicious in a more sophisticated way, but Screamer's had the grease; melty, stringy, delicious cheese; flavorful crust. You can order by the slice or get an entire pie. We went for classic pepperoni, which was made with seitan, and it did not disappoint!

Franchia Vegan Cafe was our last stop, and it offered a solid vegan meal. It didn't blow me away, but if you're in the area it's still a good option.
