Lovely readers today I am sharing with you my quick recipe of "Pollo a la Cacerola" a delicious chicken stew with few ingredients, This dish is perfect for those cold days or for your next potluck.

Pollo a la Cacerola | Servings: 4
- Vegetable oil
- 1 Chicken breast cut into strips
- 1 onion diced
- 3 Tomatoes , chopped with no skin
- 3 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 Cups of Chicken broth
- 4 Patotoes , sliced
- 1/2 Cups of green peas
- 1/4 Cup of Chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 tablespoon of paprika
- Salt and pepper
Steps :
- In a pot add 2 tablespoon of oil , cook your chicken 2 min per side then reserve
- In the same pot add one more tbsp of oil and add onions, garlic, tomatoes let them cook for at least 5 min then process them.
- Put your mix into a pot add potatoes, chicken broth , chicken, bay leaf , some salt and pepper and let it cook for at least 10 to 15 min with a lid on.
- Once 9 min passed add your , peas, paprika , cumin , give it a quick stir and let it cook for another 4 min. finish the dish with some chopped parsley on top and its good to go!
That is it guys a quick recipe you can prepare at home, it is one of those recipes that can save you some time and money since it does not require a lot of ingredients , of course you can go fancy with this dish and add some wine, meat or other kind of vegetables but this "Pollo a la Caserola" is meant to be a "humble" dish .
