You're saying that after 24 years you just decide to buy a Fillet from a butcher that you say you been using to get meat delivered? Yet you don't eat meat, and you say in the title that this is the first steak that you ever cooked?
Tell me the mentality of this post?

No, that's not what I'm saying. Sorry if that wasn't clear. That wasn't actually meant to be a post about how I wasn't vegan anymore. It's been nearly 3 months since I decided to no longer be vegan and add meat and animal products back into my diet. It was a tough decision at the time, but it is one that I am glad I made now.
Because I had not included meat in my diet for so long, however, learning how to cook it has been a little challenging. This meal was not the first meat I've cooked, but it was the first steak or something that was a little more costly.
As far as me not doing it right, then I can't wait to get better, because whatever I did today was delicious.
