Ingredients:
- 500 g of minced beef
- 40 g oat flakes
- 2 tablespoons of ketchup, if possible organic
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard and 1 egg
- salt, freshly ground pepper
- half a teaspoon chopped oregano
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 onion
Round buns - 2 butter spoons
preparation:
1.- First, we mix the minced meat with the crushed oats flakes with the hands, the ketchup, the mustard and the egg until obtaining a compact and homogenous mass. Season and add the oregano.
2.- Divided the dough into several equal pieces, depending on the size will come more hamburgers or less.
3.- Heat a grill or an iron with the oil and brown the hamburgers on both sides and then let them simmer for about 5 to 7 minutes.
4.- At the moment of serving, peel the onion and cut into rings and warm them a little on the same plate for a couple of minutes.
5.- Open the buns and spread them with the butter. We also brown them lightly on the plate.
6.- We have the hamburgers in each of the muffins, on the meat we placed the onion rings, and optionally a few slices of tomato and lettuce leaves. They are also seasoned with ketchup
I'm in love.
yummy
Yummy! That looks super appetizing.
WOW THATS A GREAT LOOKING BURGER!
:D
I had to comment when I saw this.
I've been in Barcelona Spain the past month, and could not find anything even close to a decent burger.
Now I'll be in France for a month or so then Spain again.....and I'm kind of sad (ok, I'm really sad) that I'm unlikely to see a good burger until I get back to the States.
