It actually has similarity to one human organ. Can you guess which one without scrolling further down? Take a minute to think about... Tic tac tic tac. And yeah it's pretty EASY.
So here it is, the LOVEly human organ.

Don Tolman (nutritionist) agreed that tomato actually looks like the four quadrants of the heart meaning that tomatoes like Reddy are the heart foods.
Even the American Hearth Association openly admits that these are the PERFECT heart foods. You may wonder "Okay and?" AHA states that the number 1 component that is sooo good for the heart is because it has lycopene - bright red carotene, a carotenoid pigment, and phytochemicals.
Why lycopene is so beneficial?
Straight from Dr. Axe:
From start to finish, lycopene also proves to be a tool in protecting the heart from a large number of common conditions.
Itβs one of the nutrients recommended for lowering high blood pressure levels. It prevents several cardiovascular diseases, such as coronary heart disease, myocardial ischemia (reduced blood flow to the heart caused by arterial blockages) and atherosclerosis. (17, 18, 19) Specifically related to research on coronary heart disease, tomato nutrition in particular was named as a determining factor in prevention.
Overall, high levels of lycopene in the bloodstream are associated with a lower mortality rate in people with metabolic syndrome, a combination of disorders that lead to heart disease. (20)
How often do you eat tomatoes?

love the tomato! it's tasty and healthy. we always say the men need to eat more tomatoes for prostrate health, but i guess it's not the prostrate that's going to benefit. so let's all eat more tomatoes!
Thanks for your comment, @romancereviews! I totally agree that tomatoes are sooo tasty and more importantly HEALTHY! How often do you eat tomatoes?
Thanks for this post, very nice done. I really like the pics of tomato! :)
I have read somewhere that colours of food refers to every organs. Like all the red food are connected with heart, blood and circulatory system, whites are for the immune system, yellow and oranges for nice skin etc.
Thank you, Pola, for taking your time! :) I have no doubt in that. I also saw from Spirit Science (on YouTube) that Nature's food color is a frequency which resonates with our body's 7 Chakras which have appropriate color thus frequency. For example, thymus is known as green Chakra which supports the whole heart area. And they say eating green grapes strengthens our hearts. :)
I used to love tomatoes but I've grown away from them. Too acidic for me but useful for sandwiches and salads. Great information, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for stopping by, @chaseburnett! To me, salad without a piece of a tomato is like a girl without.... you get the idea ;) Have a good day, friend!

I don't eat many tomatoes, but I do eat Tomato sauce, I read it has a higher concentration of lycopene.
Thanks for info, friend! Stay healthy :)
You bet!
Quite curious that comparison of the tomato with one of the human organs, even apart from its similarity brings many benefits to it as well as a large part of the human body. Excellent publication.
