I am still on the island. World travel just isn't what it used to be ;) I'd rather stay on this island where I have it good. Than give it up for what will probably not be as good a situation. So much of the world is just off limits it's crazy. For example one of my favorite countries Argentina is just closed to foreigners titled "Covid 19 Ban"
I've come to the realization I may be on this island for a very long time! Just to leave to Bangkok and Back involves PCR Tests, proof of vaccine, and potential quarintine, and worst case scenario is you test positive, they take into their "care" for at least 2 weeks then stick you with 3,000 dollar bill...(for Thais it's free). The whole world is just different levels of BS. So I'm just gonna stay here where I'm living really well for less than $1,000 a month. In fact I just bought a new PCX Motorcycle, first time I bought a vehicle in almost a decade! Crazy. Travel Pro is going domestic on this island, staying home and baking cheesecake and eating pie all day! hahaha
Thanks for asking Gringa. What about you? Have any plans to head back south of the boarder?
no plans to travel anywhere for the same exact reasons you mentioned. Chile is a basket case from what I here. I really wanted to travel all over, especially Europe, but all of that is put on hold for now. I am working towards investing in real estate as soon as prices come down to a reasonable level. Studying and researching DeFi and NFT's and the Metaverse, basically all of crypto.
