Sate Tongue Asparagus

Ingredients :

300g fresh asparagus, cut into 4 cm, blansir

8 pieces of smoked beef tongue

Seasoning:

125 ml Japanese soy sauce

50 ml water

10 g katsuobushi

4 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 tbsp mirin

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cm ginger, minced

How to make:

  1. Take 2 stalks of asparagus, roll with a piece of beef tongue. Stick the skewers satai. Repeat the same steps for the rest of the ingredients. Set aside.

  2. Seasoning: Heat all ingredients until sugar dissolves. Lift, strain.

  3. Sprinkle with seasoning satai until evenly distributed. Roasted on hot coals until cooked turning occasionally spread with seasoning, remove from heat.

  4. Serve warm.
