Sapin-sapin is a Filipino native delicacy made with a base mixture of rice flour and coconut milk. Each layer has a different flavor!
 

Why called sapin sapin?
 

The root word sapin which is Tagalog for “blanket,” the name pertains to the layers of rice cake.The name came from the word sapin which means sheets or layer.
 

Philippines is not only known for its culture, tourist spots and hospitable people but they are also known for its rich delicacies. Among these delicacies is the famous Sapin-sapin.
