Craving for some good marinated meat?

This place would satisfy all your Korean BBQ meat cravings. I don't know why I've been travelling further than I should when this area, Uptown Damansara has one of the best Korean BBQ outlets. Best thing is, it's affordable!

Amount Spent
Prepare about MYR70(approx 15USD) if you're going for one high end premium galbi(beef) and 3-4 other basic BBQ meat dishes. Can feed 3-4 pax if you're ordering 4-5 meat dishes.

Best thing about Korean BBQ is their side dishes, and it's self refillable. Green tea is also on the house. When you enter, you can opt to sit outside where you can enjoy the breezy alleyway or inside under the comfort of the air-conditioning.

Marinated Beef

Korean BBQ is always a fun time when you're spending it with a group of friends. You get to cook how you want your meat to be. I personally love it charred slightly on the edges. Sorry, we don't do medium rare here. It's best eaten charred wrapped with iced lettuce, a bulb of garlic and some Samyang sauce.

When you're here, make sure to order the basic alcoholic drinks that is a must for every Korean BBQ goer. A basic Suju/soju. If you want to take it up a notch, make sure to order their original makgeolli, which is fermented rice wine and it goes really well with the BBQ meat. The way to drink makgeolli the traditional way, is to drink it from a small bowl and you do a cheers with your friends before you take a sip. Usually these are two drinks which are no-brainers for the Koreans and I enjoy doing their culture every now and then.

My friends and I spent 2 hours in that BBQ place. Time flies when you're having a good time. To end the hearty meal, we head over next door for some Kakigori, a Japanese desert shop that sells shaved iced. What better way to cool off the BBQ meat and into what will be a wonderful weekend!

And pork belly - YUMMMMM!
And then the dessert too, perfect!

Yes! It's soooo good. Not sure whether you have korean bbq over at your country too? If you do, should go try!
