The beautiful skyscraper of Malaysia
My friend called me a 'tourist' for stopping to take this photo of Malaysia's tallest building, the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Malaysia is a beautiful place and from time to time, I love looking for hidden gems around Kuala Lumpur. I usually love exploring and looking for speakeasy bars, lounges, small cafes that serve really good food and most places that are a bit quieter than the overpopulated cafes.
One of my favourite chillout places would be the Zhongshan Building. I've written a post on this place a few months back. ZhongShan building is an old building refurbished with a small cafe inside that sells one of the best sourdough bread and cheese platters, a tiny Japanese teahouse and an infamous coffee house. I come here pretty often to play boardgames with my friends but this time, I've decided to bring some of my colleagues here to get a little taste for KL's hidden gem. Not many people know about this place but the news is spreading pretty quickly.
I woke up at 10am because we were supposed to meet at the place at 11am but because it was Saturday, we all slacked a little and only got to the place at 11.30am. Thank God the place wasn't crowded for the 7 of us. One of the main reasons why we've decided to go out today is also to attend a game expo that's happening in KLCC and Zhongshan being only 5km from the event place.
I always loved these sorts of bonding sessions with my colleagues because you don't only have to always talk about work but I get to listen to their personal life stories. One of the main reason why I don't club but prefers these quiet lounges and cafes for more meaningful conversations.

At the game convention
This is my first time attending a game convention because I don't really fancy these sort of places. Not really my thing. Cosplayers/gamers/watching others play game is just not my cup of tea. I'd rather stay at home and play my own games. But it was first for me and my friends tried out the new game by a local Malaysian company. It looks pretty promising but I especially enjoyed getting free gifts from the booths.
To end the day
Recently, I honestly have been feeling a little bit more emotional as I'm facing certain issues in my life lately. I hope to get better soon as I always will be but I reckon it will take a little bit of my time to get back on being the happy ol zord. But till then, I hope you guys are having a fabulous weekend.
Thank You

That food looks amazing. A great charcuterie opened near my house and you've made me want to get in my car and shoot over there. Yum.
Sounds like a nice day with your colleagues.
Someone once said to me "It's just a rough patch" and I've been saying it ever since.
The lucky among us meet with a lot of challenges.
