Well this will be a pretty basic #Foodie post as I try and get back into the swing of things......again.
This is the Chocolate Croissant from Trader Joes. It is actually pretty tasty. Easily as good as two or three bakeries I have around me locally and for a third of the cost. You have to take it out to prove the night before so it does take a little bit of forethought but most things worth doing (or having) just seem to be that way, right?
I'm having a double espresso with it because I plan on heading to the gym in about an hour once the food has settled in. Croissant and caffeine should just about be enough to fuel me.
Not only am I trying to get back into Hive again but I am also trying to get back into the gym. It's been about five months due to Covid, moving, changing jobs, changing gyms etc. I've had a couple false starts over the past month with it....Thanks Snowpocolypse!

Honestly, that first picture of the croissant looks as if it is lying there on the plate staring at me woefully. I would eat it, anyway. Especially after the cat inspected it for quality.
The cat is an excellent if not necessarily discerning inspector. My GF turned me on to these, the espresso as well. The almond croissant is just as good especially with a dusting of powdered sugar.

Awesome! Man I used to not even like coffee. I spent a couple years as a barista in a Starbucks and Barnes and Noble in my early twenties. It took until the ripe old age of 37 before I got the bug. We've got a Nespresso machine and between the Nespresso bran pods, Peets, Private Selections (from Kroger) and Target's house brand Archer Farms it is good to be into an Espresso!
