Christmas day was forecast to rain yet we still chose to set the table outside. Unfortunately for us, the wind was so strong that night, we had to remove most of the decorations Christmas eve.

luckily we kept the tree inside (my mother used to keep our tree out on the front deck)

Come Christmas day, the sun was out the day was looking beautiful, but being QLD, it ended up being such a hot and humid day from all the previous rain, that we chose to retreat inside to the aircon.

On boxing day we headed up to the Sunshine Coast to visit family... leaving Brisbane behind with massive storms that arrived hours after we left.

Both days we managed to escape the extreme weather.

How lucky is that!
